You have to make some treatment on your cdrom before you can see DVD. Samsung just released a bios program which can flash some brand of CDRom, and adjust the laser intensity, which may allow regular cdrom read dvd.You can go to their website for detailed information. (Remember: overwrite hardware bios is a dangerous action, responsible for yourself).
