DVD->SVCD:? Take How long 2 do

Just wonder how long to take to convert a DVD into SVCD?

I only convert into xvid this day. Put 5 to 6 movies into a DVD and send to my friend.Just for fun.

Usual copy a DVD (with edit) will take me about one and half hour.
