My suggestion: 1. clone the HDD to SSD

2. Replace the original HDD with SSD (put the SSD where the original HDD is);

3. Buy a HDD optical drive caddy, like this form ebay for about $3.50:

4. Put the original HDD into the caddy, and replace the optical drive (remember delete the OS from this drive) as the second hard drive.
