for fixing the virus? If it can detect the virus, it must have given you some kind of suggestion. Search the name of the virus at Norton's website or Google, try to see if theres any solution.

But first please try the system recovery utility just like the guy suggested upstairs. Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Recovery.
