you have to clean up all your history, delete the cache, maybe cookies as well from your browser..also check your UNINSTALL program to see if there is any odd apps you don't recognize..just remove them if any..if you are an advanced user, you may bring up msconfig program to remove anything you don't need..

that's all i can suggest for now..
