ASUS routers. Stay away from AMPED

I would stay away from the AMPED brand products.  They are too many bad reviews in amazon for all their products including routers.

If you want power and range and quality, buy an ASUS router.

I have used Micorsoft, D-link, Linksys (for 2 weeks), 2Wire, 4 Netgears, Western Digital and ASUS.  My overall rating is

ASUS>Netgear>2Wire>Linksys>Microsoft>D-link>WD

Alll ASUS routers haver received high marks in Amazon in terms of their quality, range and power.  Please read some reviews before making your decision. I have a RT-N66U, have it placed in one corner of my house and I can get good signal from my entire house.

TR-N66U is about $130, $110 if onsale.

RT-AC66U is a bit faster, will cost $180.
