You can use Windows search to find the file -- not the best solution because it does not work well.

Or install Everything, a search tool that is faster than any search tools available. Once installed, wait for 2-5 min to let it index your file, then type partial file name in the search box at the top,

for example, let's say your file name is "Trouble-with-file-recovery.docx", you can type in the search box:

"Trouble*" (no quotation marks)

or "*with-file*"

or "*recovery"
