Probably a full blown laptop is needed, then.

Tablets are good in "content consumption" but not as efficient in "content creation".

I don't have first hand experience but you may want to compare latest mac and windows to see which fits.  There are both Apple and Microsoft stores in many malls.  Microsoft office (including PowerPoint) has Windows and Mac version.
