Set up user name and password (can be different from Windows user names).

(2) Set port forwarding on your router/firewall for PPTP VPN

Make sure to forward port 1723 (TCP) and GRE (47) to your internal IP address of the Windows 7 PC. Depending on your router this can be tricky (e.g., Verison Fios router).

(3) Set up VPN client on your ipad/iphone etc.

Select PPTP,enter your external IP address,enter user name and password.

Now you can access any blocked websites from China.

(4) If you have a changing IP from DHCP, you need to set up dynamic DNS for your router.

Search free dynamic DNS on Google.
