Last night at 2:30am I had to update the driver

of Epson 2580 scanner. I use Windows Server 2008 R2, almost the same as Windows 7.

Go to Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager to see if your scanner has the right driver. If not, download the driver for Windows 7 from HP.
