I know what's going on, NV8035 is locked in DROID X by default, meaning it won't allow change to be made in MIP profiles.
You need to do the following:
CDMA workshop, connect, read, Security- spc 000000 send, Memory NVRAM- read 8035, save to a file.
open with notepad, you will see it begins with 01, changes it to 00, save.
go back to CDMA workshop, Memory NVRAM -write 8035, load the file you just modified.
Then, after a reboot, you can use QPST to write in new info. Let me know if it works or not.
If not, I can tell you another workaround.
