I have a wireless router and two computers connect to it with wireless adaptor. The router use DCHP to assign ip address to the computers. The IP address range is from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199. Now I have problem. one computer is fine but the other can't connect with the router. I checked the IP address of the computer. The address is 128.164.0.255.It's not in the IP range of my router. I try to use "ipconfig /release and renew" to get the new IP. But it can not release the old IP. When I use the "ipconfig" the message display the autoconfiguration IP is 128.164.0.255 and mask is255.255.0.0 and the gateway is empty.I have set the DCHP in the TCP/IP in the windowsXP.
Anyone know why and how to fix it.
