Unless you're a serious gamer pushing the performance envelope, I don't see much point in overclocking a CPU. Nowadays everything is so cheap that you can pretty much afford whatever system you'd like to buy. If you smoked a CPU, you could've gotten a much better one with the money you had to spend on the replacement.
I, too, have considered this deal but decided to pass.
