While many Mac native applications are still behind competitors', such as iWorks vs MS Office, iWeb vs dreamweaver, Apperture vs Photoshop or Lightroom, Apple is gaining more users by attracting developers through App store. A healthy user base - developer interaction is the key to the success of an OS/platform.
