Expert's advice is greatly appreciated!
I will receive brand new thinkpad sl510 today. The laptop is needed to do tune-up to seek peak performance.
I plan to do three things (1) make a recovery disc (2)uninstall junk programs preinstalled by manufactuer (3) install programs I need.
Questions:
(1) I use ccleaner to uninstall program. Any better tool to uninstall programs?
(2) I will install the following progra, I am cheap and I want great freeware :).
a. ccleaner - to clean the disk, uninstall program...
b. windows security essentials - anti-virus
c. truecrypt - file encryption
d. firefox - web browsing
e. cleanme - memory management
f. teamviewer - remote desktop control
d. openoffice - office software
Better options? Advice?Thanks
