RIMM playbook tablet will run android Apps

What's the point to have their own QNX based OS for its tablet.

If Android is the most of people want besides iOS, then go with Android and add your own advanced email App there. They also can customize Android to have their email integrated. RIMM has unique/advanced email infrastructure. However, most of smart phone/tablet users see email is less and less important than other things when they make purchase decision.
