我隻試過Fresh XP installation cloning.

如果USB容量足夠大，理論上應該可以直接用USboot把Windows XP裝進USB。For the device drivers and software installed on the desktop, I'm not sure if they will work once transferred to USB.
It's much easier to clone a fresh installation and then install device drivers and software on the laptop.
