hook it up to a AV receiver, like yamaha 365, and it handles both audio and video signals to the receiver, and further send video sigals to TV via another HDMI cable,
if not try rca splitter, and you can hook it up to the earphone out one end and a speaker with amplifier to the other, like the Swan M200MkIII, excellent inexpensive speaker, made in China, good enough for pplive and regular TV program viewing.
For the most part, the audio quality is mediocre to poor, speaker from the TV should be more than enough. In that case one HDMI cable will do the job.
