help! please ! I can 't log in!

this morning , I did system recovery.After that , I found there are a lot of
software don't work and I have to re-install them. My daughter came to install windows updates, but She can't log in after re-boot. the window only show a user icon "compaq_administrator" but if you click it, it says "loading personal settings" but then stops and you have to try clicking it again. I wend to safe mode to try but it still won't let me log in.
I did not set a password for this user.
Please help, thanks!
