I bought another similar refurbished model from a cheapest site at $300. It runs great for 2 years now, not a single issue.
My suggestion is if you are in the states, get the lowest possible machine (if you are not gaming) yet smallest. If it runs for 2 years, you can get another better one for the same price with better performance. At the end of 4 years, you will have 2 machines. This way will beat any full price purchase now in 4 years running! The difference of nowaday's "good machine" will be bad in two years anyway, maybe less than that the 2nd machine you could buy! See my logic? :)

You are out of luck if you are in Canada. :(
