I have one, from Costco. I have prepaid. It works great, GPS, 3G network web access(with fitwxc's proxy or skyfire). If you use web too much, battery runs down quickly.

Applications that require network access will not work. But GPS doesn't require network. GPS has online and offline two modes. You can leave it in either mode. But when you try to find a place using search, if you are in online mode it will try to go online and will find nothing. Leave it in offline mode, search will return pre-stored data.

It is a good phone. I am happy with it. I was out for three days with no internet access. This phone is my only network connection.
