I am sorry for replying late. I think by now you already learned some stuff. Google voice is only a forwarding click to dial and call back service. you will need a real did number to forward the calls to this number. you have a few options to get free voip did numbers and you still need an ata adapter like linksys pap2, spa 1001, spa 3102..... spa 1001 has one rj 11 port, spa 3102 has one voip rj 11 port for connecting to a phone and a pstn port for connecting to a regular phone service's phone line on the wall. pap2 has two rj 11 ports which allow you to connect to two phones. you will need to use sipsorcery, a voip service over the internet to enable you to dial out by using your google voice and the did number. if you really don't know what you are doing. there will be a lot of reading ahead of you. i did setup awd's service. if you want, i can give you a call to tell you a little more when i have time. i am busy this week and the earliest possibility would be next week.
