Core Due is also dual core, but its design based
on old Petimum. Remember INTC screwed up at certain point due to the P4, netbust architecture.

Core 2 Due is the new CPU make INTC turn around.
Start from the first review. All hardware review sites
say good thing about the CPU. AMD Athlon 64 was domainated for a couple of years before Core 2 Due came out. After that AMD is in trouble.
