i said Boost offered only dialup speed, because they used to operate on iDEN network as Nextel. They provide free (almost) text message, internet data plan, etc.
Since Sprint acquired Boost, the latter announced to convert to CDMA in Jan 2010. So my conclusion is not necessary true anymore. I have not seen any news reporting them to move toward EVDO. Until further changes, I still believe you can't have high speed data access with Boost.
