you must tell what port of your laptop has, HDMI, SVGA, VGA?

and what in port your TV has, HDMI, SVGA, VGA, RCA, TV in ?
usually an SVGA to VGA cable will work for this situation. you can buy it from ebay. The best is HDMI to HDMI, if both your laptop and TV has HDMI.
