My T23 had damaged 2 power adapter so far, now I am using a universal laptop power adapter for it, it sounds like the A/C adapter for IBM has some quality issue. Never had any problem with my Dell adapter, even once I drained a cup of drink to the D600, the A/C adapter entered protection mode, I thought it was dead, but disconnected it and re-inserted it to the power socket, it worked again.
