1. Backup OS partition just used for OS backup file, simple and easy to know. Of course you can data partition for same purpose.
2. you can have four primary partitions. although not needed for backup/data, no harm either.
3. after recovery you can't use easy data recovery, because your file position recovered. of course recovery will erase files not in it.
