When you register your number just choose MOBILE title not HOME, VOIP or else.Then it will send a SMS code to the number instead of a call. I suppose you use GV as your unmber, and already turn on SMS function in the GV setting. So you can get the code in you GV account or your email if you forword it to there. Then just follow the instruction and you will get it. I did this way yesterday.I failed when let them call you and send you a code to the phone screen.
