能用 if it's unlocked and supports the GSM frequencies that 中國移動 uses, i.e. 900 MHz & 1800 MHz.

Yes. You need to call T-mobile for that. Just say you'll take an oversea trip to China. And make sure you've been T-mobile customer for over 90 days and your T-mobile prepaid account has been refilled within the last 30 days.

> 刷中文的firmware？
Yes if you want to see SMS in Chinese.
