Check your USB cable. I had the same problem, after

changing USB cable, it works fine.

Check your USB cable, you can find something like "28AWG/1P 24AWG/2C". They are the value of wire thickness. The first value is for signal, the second is for power. The smaller the value, the thicker the wire. I had problem with "28AWG/1P 28AWG/2C" cable. "28AWG/1P 26AWG/2C" cable works ok except one enclosure (I have 5 different notebook hard drive enclosures). "28AWG/1P 24AWG/2C" cable works fine for every enclosure.
