Please..help me to find and clean unused files

I have an old Dell inspiron laptop with intel penteng 2.1kHz, window xp , 256M Ram and 40G hard drive. Recently, I used it for watching online Movie from UUsee. I kept on cleaning the hard drive and I can watch 2 or three hours after cleaning. Now it can only last 15 minutes and the cleaning does not seem work any more. Then, I realize I only have 5% free space left (less than 2 G) for use. The program files only take total of 11G and documents take less than 1G. I can't find what other files that take 26G space? When I clean the disc, it only show 49,000k need to be cleaned. Can anyone tell me how to find and delete unwanted files?
