You may have a fake wdmaud.sys file.

The real wdmaud.sys file is in system32/drivers\\ directory and it is about 82KB.

The fake wdmaud.sys file is in system32 or windows directory and is about 21KB.

Delete the fake wdmaud.sys file and reboot. If you cannot delete it, rename it first, then reboot and delete it.
