Right mouse click on "My Computer" and select Manage

Select Device Manager, on the right side, expand Network adapters, then right mouse click on the Ethernet card and select Properties. In the Properties, click on Power Managemet, you will see something like "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" checkbox, uncheck it and click OK.
