我的HP機器,買來就把Vista降成XP。用E文寫吧:
OK, Freeware HDTV watching program is not very good in supporting my video card, so I decided to make it back to Vista to record Olympics. But I can't. The F10 or similar under BIOS doesn't work! After google a lot, seems there are many method using partition management stuff to get it back.
In HP, the restore partition is a normal starting full function partition. But when I put on XP, it remove the boot sector to search for all bootable partitions.
But I finally tried the following method: Like the HDD to another machine, set up the recovery partition to be active, then the machine will boot from that partition instead of others!
That way, the restore partition can be restored. Afterward, I can make recovery DVD by system default.
Maybe Dell is doing the same thing?
