User Accout

on my w2k os computer, there was only one user(with computer name as user name) when i set upOS, afterwards when i checked there was another one (administrator, of course). there was no other used it or tried to logon, other than from my laptop networked in.
today i just tooka look at control panel's user and there are alomst ten different user accounts uder "local setting and documents", other than "all user", administrator and my own account, i do not want any others can i delete them and how? those added usename are of some combination of computername/ admin/ and some other "system" generated names. if i delete themdirectly,what would happen to my account?but whare did they come from?
