The posts didn't show any real conclusion. It could very well be a BIOS issue or video card issue.

440M is not able to playback 1080p. We all know what. My friend had a laptop with an older AMD X2 CPU. His laptop play*****ack 1080p just fine. His laptop has a dedicated 128MB ATI video card though.
