shouldn't be a problem

i would be VERY surprised if you see any problem.
but you need d/l all the current drivers from ibm/lenovo which can be a pain because you need the network driver first.. then... lot's of headaches (i went through that 2 weeks ago). but i think it can be done (mine is t61 tho)
