performing a trickle charge or high current charge it counts one.

It is correct, when the battery is full, the charging will stop. However, when the laptop is off, the battery starts discharge. When the laptop turned on again and if it is connected to a AC supply, the battery will be started recharge again. It make the re-charge # reduced. that is why recommend to wait the battery charge goes down to certain level (eg, work a couple hours using the battery power) before perform a recharge and it will extend the battery life.

BTW, if the battery is made in China, the reliability is not too good.
