Both are not good.

#1. 17# Monitor is too small. 128M Vedio memory for what? too small.

#2. Which applicaton will need Q6600? Do you really need 4-CPU?

To save money you should buy a PC with middle class CPU and make sure you have 4 sockets for memory and PCIe slot for vedio card to upgrade. Monitor should be 22" or 24".

Do not buy Vista. People complain vista a lot.

You will have chance to find good deal later about the memory and vedio card.
