For those concerned as to whether the process SVCHost.exe should be allowed or disallowed here are two articles that might help:
svchost.exe on win2000 - article 250320 on www.microsoft.com
svchost.exe on XP - article 314056 on www.microsoft.com
And for those who mentioned that they had multiple svchost.exe using most of there cpu. This is a symptom of the welchia. Here is a linkd that might help.
