After having followed your instructions, I tried to replace the broken Windows 2000 "Explorer.exe" with a new XP Explorer.exe file. It was unsuccessful since an error message appeared: " Can't create or replace explorer: the specified file is being used by Windows."
To my surprise, later I found I can not access desktop as what you taught me before: Ctrl/Alt/Del to open Task Manager, select New Task, and type" Explorer" to show up the Desktop. Now a new error message apperaed: Entry Point not found: The procedure entry point GetmoduleHandleExw could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll." I am lost again on how to access the Desktop. Basically the computer is not usable.
遊子一 , is it possible to fix the problems wthout uploading the Windows Operating Systems? Sorry for bothering you with so many questions. Thank you in a million!
