If you want to connect to a PC as IDE drive, you must check virus on the drive first, looks like it is infected by virus.
You must understand the problem of DDO. DDO is dynamic Disk Overlay program reside in the first 512 bytes of the hard drive, which controls the access for the USB to IDE . sometimes the DDO is corupted.

To deal with DDO is a high Technical job for Many PC Users, even for many computer programs.
