Hi Guru, please help on this - page always scroll to buttom

I have seen this couple times, until today it became unbearable - no matter I was surfing webs or opening word files, the pages were always scrolled to bottom. When I moved up it scrolled back down again once I released the mouse. After reboot, the symptom was gone. Only this machine has this problem, other machines are fine. Is it a virus?

OS: XP
Machine: ThinkPad T60 2.0ghz, Duel Core. Ram: 3.0g
WinWord: MS Word 2000
Browser: IE6
