I love my Mac. But I have some troubles. Did I do any wrong? Thx

I can't see the properties of a picture (the right click function of IBM system laptop). So, I can't insert the pictures. Also, it always tells me that "can't support the application, but I'll try" when I tried to open/write an article. It seem like is not compatable with this website. Anyone can tell me why? How do I see the property of a picture?
