Most likely you connected to the wireless router
owned by your neighbor. This happened to me once.
My SMC router is 192.168.2.1. My neighbor's router
(a Netgear router) is 192.168.0.1. My IP was once
assigned to 192.168.0.3. You can use your client
software to choose which router you want to connect
to by default.
