technically, you should have 2GB running @ slower rate. but, you lose dual channel capability.

not sure if rams from KByte have compatibility issues. never used them. anyway, have u checked what ur bios says? also, try to see what cpu-z has to say. in ur tests, have u tried to switch slots? just in case.
