if I were you

1) reset the modem (lightly press the reset hole for ten second while power was connected)
2) disable all the firewall in the computer(temperoray and prefer a wired network computer, not a wireless one)
3) run the setup again (according to the instruction - disconnect the router, run the CD set, follow the instructions)
