頻繁使用的外接硬盤如何關電源更安全？

我不敢總開著頻繁使用的外接硬盤，怕燒壞。每次用完外接硬盤我都仔細地
先用安全方式刪USB連接，再拔USB連線，最後關外接硬盤的電源。

現在擔心的問題是：用外接硬盤上的開關斷電次數太多可能損壞外接硬盤。

外部設備電源係統的電湧防護器(SURGE PROTECTOR)也保護不了硬盤內部的過電呀，

大俠們是怎麽做的？請賜教。
