Help XP Chinese Input broken

Sorry I can't type chinese because it's broken.

The MSFT Pinyin I added from control panel ---> regional and language settings is broken.

Everytime I try to enable it, it will break whatever program that is running topmost. If I try to do it for firefox, firefox errors out and shuts down, so does IE, text pad, or even windows explorer.


I don't know if there's any way to reintall or fix it? Any suggestions?
