use emule/edonkey. Edonkey file transfer system is a credit base system. Your donwload speed depends on your upload speed. So, you can't download if you don't share. Unlike Kazza and other Kazza clones which use the fasttrack system, Edonkey doesn't really have a centralized server. Therefore, it would be very difficult for RIAA to track you down. If you're really paranoid, you can always use the emule listing servers that have ip outside of U.S. or disable sharing of mp3. RIAA is not that smart. Why would It go after emulle users when there are easy targets such as Kazza users? BTW, RIAA spies would need to know your ip, a list of the files you share, and download a complete copy of mp3 song from you in order for a court to issue you a supeona.
